Heavitree Brewery fiscal H1 profit climbs 29.7% YOY

Heavitree Brewery PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended April 30 amounted to 6 Great British pence per share, a gain of 29.0% from 5 pence per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £316,250, a gain of 29.7% from £243,750 in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased year over year to £3.3 million from £3.3 million, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to £2.7 million from £2.8 million.

Reported net income grew 29.1% year over year to £377,000, or 8 pence per share, from £292,000, or 6 pence per share.
