Liberty Global partners with Teltoo to improve video quality

Liberty Global PLC tapped video delivery technology company Teltoo SL to improve livestreaming video quality on its platform.

Through the partnership with Teltoo as a peer-to-peer CDN partner, Liberty Global will have another tool to enhance its existing CDN, the company said Dec. 9. Teltoo will leverage Liberty Global's existing operations to expand into new markets, particularly in the U.K.

Liberty Global's entertainment platform Horizon 4, which is already available in The Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland, is set to launch across additional Liberty Global markets in 2020. Horizon 4 offers features such as access to linear television, replay functionality and video on demand.
