Pacific Ridge suspends drilling at TL zinc project due to extreme weather

Due to severe winter weather conditions, Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. suspended its recently launched drill program at its early-stage TL zinc project in British Columbia.

Prior to suspension, the company completed two drill holes totaling 611 meters at the eastern end of the main HELITEM electromagnetic conductor.

Both holes intersected several zones of graphitic schist with disseminated sulfide mineralization that appear to be the cause of the electromagnetic anomaly, according to the company's Dec. 19 news release. Multielement analyses for both holes are pending.

"We plan to return in the spring to continue the drill program in the western portion of the property testing targets where gravity and EM anomalies are in closer proximity to known zinc mineralization," Pacific Ridge President Gerry Carlson said.
