Upland Software releases Q1, FY'16 outlook

UplandSoftware Inc. on March 29 issued its outlook for the first quarterand full year 2016.

For the quarter ending March 31, the company expects reportedtotal revenue to be in the range of $17.1 million to $18.1 million, includingrecurring revenue in the range of $14.6 million to $15.6 million, or growth inrecurring revenue of 6% at the midpoint over the quarter ended March 31, 2015.Adjusted EBITDA should be in the range of $1.7 million to $2.3 million, for anadjusted EBITDA margin of 11% at the midpoint, or growth of 480% at themidpoint over the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For full year 2016, Upland Software expects reported totalrevenue to be in the range of $70.0 million to $74.0 million, includingrecurring revenue in the range of $61.3 million to $65.3 million, or growth inrecurring revenue of 11% at the midpoint over the year ended Dec. 31, 2015.Adjusted EBITDA should be in the range of $9.0 million to $11.0 million, for anadjusted EBITDA margin of 14% at the midpoint, representing growth of 156% atthe midpoint over the year ended Dec. 31, 2015.

Also, the company reported a net loss attributable to commonshareholders of $4.3 million, or 28 cents per share, for the fourth quarter of2015, compared with a net loss attributable to common shareholders of $2.9million, or 30 cents per share, in the prior-year quarter.

Upland Software recorded a net loss attributable to commonshareholders of $13.7 million, or 91 cents per share, for full year 2015,compared with a net loss attributable to common shareholders of $21.6 million,or $4.43 per share, a year ago.
