NFL nets China streaming deal

The National Football League struck an agreement with Sina Weibo, a major Chinese social media platform, to live stream its games in China.

Six games have streamed over the past couple of weekends, the sports organization said Dec. 28. Sina also will live stream the final Sunday Night Football game in Week 17, three playoff games and the Super Bowl.

In addition to live streaming NFL games, Sina will also have rights to non-game video-on-demand clips, highlights and other NFL video content.
