Sherwin-Williams grosses $1.50 billion from debt offering

The Sherwin-Williams Company raised gross proceeds of $1.50 billion from an offering of 2.25% senior unsecured notes due May 15, 2020.

The company plans to use the proceeds for investment in securities and acquisitions or investments.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, PNC Capital Markets LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., RBC Capital Markets LLC, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. also served as underwriters for the offering.
