CMS Energy details new CEO compensation

CMS EnergyCorp. said in a filing that Patricia Poppe will receive an annualbase salary of $950,000 as president and CEO of the company and its subsidiary.

Poppe will succeedJohn Russell as president and CEO,effective July 1. Poppe also will be eligible for an increase in her standardaward percentage under the CMS Energy incentive compensation plan to 100% ofher base salary, according to a Form 8-K filed May 6.

The changes were approved by the compensation committee ofthe company's board on May 5, and will be effective July 1.

CMS Energy also announced the election of 12 directors atthe annual shareholders meeting on May 6.

In addition to Poppe and Russell, the shareholders electedJon Barfield, Deborah Butler, Kurt Darrow, Stephen Ewing, Richard Gabrys,William Harvey, Philip Lochner Jr., Myrna Soto, John Sznewajs and Laura Wrightas directors.
