RC Core fiscal Q2 profit climbs 34.7% YOY

R. C. Core Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was ¥42.52 per share, a gain of 33.8% from ¥31.78 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥189.4 million, an increase of 34.7% from ¥140.6 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.4% from 4.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 6.7% year over year to ¥3.49 billion from ¥3.27 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥3.19 billion from ¥3.05 billion.

Reported net income rose 50.9% year over year to ¥206.8 million, or ¥46.44 per share, from ¥137.1 million, or ¥30.98 per share.
