MicrosoftCorp. on July 13 introduced a professional degree program to "offeremployer-endorsed, university-caliber curriculum for professionals at any stageof their career."

The company is initially offering the Microsoft ProfessionalDegree in data science, with all courseware available on nonprofit onlinelearning destination edX.org.
