Sergio Albarelli has resigned as CEO and managing director of Italian asset manager Azimut Holding SpA, effective Jan. 25, 2019, citing personal reasons.

The company expects to appoint a new CEO by its April 2019 annual general meeting. It co-opted Gabriele Blei onto the board as a director following Albarelli's resignation.
