Microsoft unveils new subscription service offerings for Windows 10, Surface devices

MicrosoftCorp. unveiled new subscription service offerings for its Windows10 operating system and Surface devices.

According to a July 12 official blog post, the company'sCloud Solution Providers, or CSPs, can use the Surface as a Service program tooffer Surface devices, managed cloud services, Office 365, Windows 10, andrelevant ISV software to businesses.

Also, the software giant unveiled Windows 10 Enterprise E3for CSP. Businesses can receive enterprise-grade security and managementcapabilities at $7 a seat per month via the Cloud Solution Provider channel,starting this fall.

Additionally, Microsoft expanded the Surface multi-nationalpurchasing program with the addition of resellers such as CDW, Insight, SHI andZones. The company also struck deals with IBM and Booz Allen Hamilton tobolster the Surface Enterprise Initiative.

Windows 10 is currently running on more than 350 millionactive devices.
