ØyvindThomassen will step down as CEO of Skandiabanken AB (publ), Dagens Industri reported April 13.
Thomassen,who joined the Stockholm-based Skandia Group in 1988, will pursue new careeropportunities within the financial or investment sectors, according to thereport. He said he decided "to take a close look at my future" in thewake of Skandia's divestment of Skandiabanken ASA in Norway.
"Whilethis was a decision I fully stand behind, it did cause me to reflect onmatters," Thomassen reportedly said.
SkandiaGroup CEO Frans Lindelöw is working with the board to appoint a new head forSkandiabanken AB, according to the report.
