Diamond Hill Capital portfolio manager to retire

Ric Dillon will retire as a portfolio manager at Diamond Hill Capital Management Inc. on June 30.

Dillon has managed the Diamond Hill Long-Short Fund since its inception in 2000. His co-managers, Chris Bingaman and Jason Downey, will continue to manage the fund after Dillon's retirement. Nate Palmer will join the fund as an assistant portfolio manager to provide analytical support, effective June 30.

Palmer worked as a sector leader for the company's information technology and telecommunications services team since 2012.

Dillon will continue to serve as chairman for Diamond Hill Investment Group Inc. He had been Diamond Hill's CEO from 2000 to 2015.

Diamond Hill Capital Management is a subsidiary of Diamond Hill Investment Group.
