Norwegian energy producer Equinor ASA completed the sale of its 63% stake and operatorship of its onshore business in the Eagle Ford Shale to joint venture partner Repsol SA.
Under the deal, Equinor sold all of its interests in the joint venture for $325 million at the time of announcement. The assets in Texas cover 69,000 net acres, according to a Dec. 6 news release.
The transaction was announced Nov. 7 and has an effective date of Oct. 1.
