RadNet acquires diagnostic imaging provider Medical Arts Radiology

RadNet Inc. said it acquired Medical Arts Radiology, which owns 10 imaging centers in Long Island, N.Y.

Los Angeles-based RadNet said in an Oct. 5 press release that the 10 centers, which generate about $40 million of patient revenue annually, provide magnetic resonance imaging, CAT scans, X-ray, ultrasound, and other diagnostic procedures.

The transaction will bring over 350 full-time and part-time employees to RadNet, plus access to about 15 radiologists.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

RadNet provides outpatient diagnostic imaging services in the U.S.
