CopperPointMutual Insurance Co. named Marc Schmittlein to succeed Donald SmithJr. as president and CEO, according to a March 31 news release.

Schmittlein most recently worked at Travelers Cos. Inc. as president of its cyber businessdivision. He will join CopperPoint on June 1.

Smith, who previously announced his plans to retireeffective July 1, will continue to serve on the board of CopperPoint as an independentdirector following his retirement.
