Microsoft Corp. unveiled a refreshed version of its Skype communication tool.

According to a June 1 official blog post, the updated version, which includes new add-ins and bots, will first roll out to mobile and will become available for desktop later.

Devices powered by Google Inc.'s Android operating system will get the new version first, while versions for Windows and Apple Inc.'s Mac will be released over the next few months.
