Spitfire to acquire gold project in Western Australia

Spitfire Materials Ltd. will acquire an exploration tenement dubbed the England gold project in Western Australia by issuing 2 million common shares, it said Oct. 7.

The company executed a conditional deal to acquire exploration license E38/2869.

The England project is on a highly prospective structural corridor, which contains the Joanne and Jenny deposits to the north and the Wallaby deposit to the south.

Spitfire said it has planned infill aircore bedrock drilling adjacent to the Goat Creek gold intersection of 5 meters at 5.6 g/t of gold to determine the full extent of mineralization, and reconnaissance bedrock aircore drilling over untested areas of the project.
