Report: LVMH-owned Céline's creative director to step down

Designer Phoebe Philo, the creative director of ready-to-wear and leather goods brand Céline, will step down, Women's Wear Daily reported Dec. 22.

Céline is owned by French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. The fall 2018 collection, which is expected to be launched in March 2018, will be the last collection designed by Philo, the report said.

Philo served the brand for 10 years, according to the report. Her successor will be announced in the coming months, the report added, citing a person with knowledge of the development.
