Infosys completes 130B share repurchase program

Infosys Ltd. completed a share repurchase program to buy back up to 130 billion Indian rupees worth of shares.

The India-based company said Dec. 22 that it bought back 113,043,478 shares at 1,150 rupees apiece.

The settlement of all valid bids was completed by Clearing Corp. of India Ltd. on Dec. 22, and funds have been paid out to shareholders whose shares were accepted under the buyback.

As of Dec. 25, US$1 was equivalent to 64.05 Indian rupees.
