Commonwealth Bank of Australia issues US$2.5B of notes

Commonwealth Bank of Australia issued US$2.5 billion of subordinated notes.

The bank said Sept. 12 that it issued US$1.25 billion of 3.610% notes due 2034 and US$1.25 billion of 3.743% notes due 2039.

The notes were issued under the bank's US$50 billion medium-term note program.
