Report: 'The Gilmore Girls' producer sues Warner Bros. over show's revival on Netflix

Gavin Polone, an original producer on "The GilmoreGirls," sued Time WarnerInc.'s Warner Bros. over the alleged breach of contract related tothe planned revival of the series on NetflixInc.'s streaming service, Varietyreported April 11.

In a lawsuit, Polone cited an agreement for the originalseries that reportedly entitles him to payments for the series revival.

Polone said the agreement from 2000 and settlement agreementfrom 2002 allows him to seek $32,500 for each episode produced after 2003, apercentage of the modified adjusted gross, and credit as executive producer inthe opening title or main credit.
