Kingsway Financial Services' accounting firm to resign

BDO USA LLP will resign as Kingsway Financial Services Inc.'s independent registered public accounting firm, effective upon filing by the company of the quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended Sept. 30.

There were no disagreements between the company and BDO on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedures, during the company's fiscal years ended Dec. 31, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2017, as well as the subsequent interim period through Oct. 11.

Kingsway Financial Services intends to engage RSM US LLP as its new accounting firm for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31.
