AXIS Capital Holdings Ltd. has appointed two individuals to newly created roles in the U.S. programs, property and casualty team of its AXIS Insurance business.

Tim McGee has been promoted to senior vice president and U.S. programs underwriting officer. McGee previously worked as senior vice president and program manager.

Franklin Maccotan was named vice president of U.S. programs, responsible for the oversight of certain programs in the P&C sector. He previously worked at Berkley North Pacific, leading the home-office underwriting team.
