Moonbat Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to a loss of ¥9.56 per share, compared with ¥20.17 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥47.5 million, compared with income of ¥101.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 1.7% from 3.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 13.2% on an annual basis to ¥2.80 billion from ¥3.22 billion, and total operating expenses declined 5.9% on an annual basis to ¥2.91 billion from ¥3.09 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥71.0 million, or a loss of ¥14.29 per share, compared to income of ¥76.0 million, or ¥15.14 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
