Board moves through July 15

S&P Global MarketIntelligence presents an overview of board changes at European financialinstitutions. The changes are listed by announcement date in reversechronological order.

July 15

*Deutsche Bank AG Stefan Simon to becomea member of its supervisory board following a recommendation from Qatarishareholders Paramount Services Holdings and Supreme Universal Holdings. Simon,a partner at law firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg, will stand for election at thebank's May 18, 2017, annual general meeting. Until then, he is to be appointedas a supervisory board member by court order.

*Co-operative BankPlc's board appointed John Worth as CFO and a director. Pendingregulatory approvals, the appointment will take effect from Sept. 1. Worth,currently interim CFO at HiscoxLtd., will replace John Baines, who will step down from the boardSept. 28 and leave the bank Oct. 1 as part of an orderly succession.

*Pinar Abay joinedthe board of directors of INGGroep NV unit INGBelgië NV as a nonexecutive director. Abay has been CEO ofING Bank AS sinceOctober 2011.

July 13

*Hastings Group HoldingsPlc said Teresa Robson-Capps and Alison Burns were as nonexecutivedirectors with effect from July 13. Teresa is currently a nonexecutive directorand member of the audit committee of CYBG Plc and is chairman of ACS Group, while Burns isCEO of Aviva Group IrelandPlc.

*Novo Banco SA namedAntónio Manuel Palma Ramalho chairman of its board of directors, effective Aug. 1.The appointment was based on a proposal by the Portuguese Fundo de Resoluçãoand is subject to the approval of the ECB.Ramalho, currently president of a public company that manages Portugal's roadand rail infrastructure, will replace Eduardo Stock da Cunha.

*Erbolat Dossayev wasappointed chairman ofthe board of directors at JSCHousing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan(Zhilstroysberbank). Dossayev also serves as management boardchairman of National Management Holding Baiterek, the parent company of thebank.

*Paolo Cornaro will become chairman of the board of directors of , replacing GiancarloViscardi, who has served in the role since 1992. Cornaro is the CEO of the banksince 1980.

*The new 11-member board of directors of IHS Markit Ltd., the entity formed by the of Markit Ltd. and IHSInc., consists of Dinyar Devitre, Ruann Ernst, William Ford, Balakrishnan Iyer,Robert Kelly, Deborah McWhinney, Jean-Paul Montupet, Richard Roedel, JamesRosenthal, Jerre Stead and Lance Uggla. Stead also serves as chairman and CEOof the combined entity, while Uggla serves as president.

* Blythe Masters her seat as chairman ofSantander Consumer USA HoldingsInc. to join parent Banco Santander SA as group senior adviser on blockchain. Pending regulatory approval, Masters also joined the board of Openbank.Openbank is the trademark of Open Bank SA, Santander's digital-only bank.Masters is the CEO of DigitalAsset Holdings LLC, a cryptocurrency firm.
