Oncobiologics Inc. received a noncompliance notice from Nasdaq Global Market for failing to hold its annual meeting within 12 months of its fiscal year end.

The company has 45 calendar days from the date of notification to submit a plan to regain compliance.

On Sept. 29 Oncobiologics filed a statement with the SEC for an annual meeting on Oct. 26.

The notice has no immediate effect on the listing of the company's common stock.
