OHTL Q3 loss widens YOY

OHTL Public Company Ltd said its third-quarter normalized net income was a loss of 72 satang per share, compared with a loss of 23 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 10.8 million baht, compared with a loss of 3.4 million baht in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin declined to negative 2.8% from negative 0.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue came to 384.5 million baht, compared with 386.2 million baht in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses rose year over year to 401.2 million baht from 390.6 million baht.

Reported net income came to a loss of 15.0 million baht, or a loss of 99 satang per share, compared to a loss of 6.3 million baht, or a loss of 42 satang per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 35.96 baht.
