Peel Hotels fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Peel Hotels PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Aug. 17 came to £347,140, an increase from £126,340 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue climbed year over year to £8.6 million from £8.2 million, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to £7.8 million from £7.7 million.

Reported net income grew on an annual basis to £420,360, or 3 pence per share, from £154,130, or 1 pence per share.
