Jumbo Interactive fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

Jumbo Interactive Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 1 Australian cents per share, a decrease of 74.5% from 4 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$497,110, a decrease of 72.9% from A$1.8 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue climbed 16.1% on an annual basis to A$14.3 million from A$12.3 million, and total operating expenses rose 41.2% on an annual basis to A$14.0 million from A$9.9 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of A$22,890, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to income of A$1.8 million, or 4 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
