French OTT platform Molotov to launch in July

over-the-top platform Molotov will launch on July11, Broadband TV News reported April 4.

Molotov hasreportedly struck a deal with VivendiSA's Canal PlusSA to carry channels D8, D17 and iTélé, as well as Ciné+ premiumcinema channels Ciné+Premier, Ciné+Frisson, Ciné+émotion, Ciné+Famiz,Ciné+Club, Ciné+Classic and Ciné+A la demande.

The OTTplatform plans to offer about 100 free-to-air and pay TV channels via PCs,connected TVs and mobile devices, according to the report.

Molotov isfounded by mediaveterans Pierre Lescure, Jean David Blanc, Jean-Marc Denoual and Kevin Kuipers.
