Chinalco Mining meets FY'15 production guidance

Chinalco MiningCorp. International said March 30 that its Toromocho copper-silver-molybdenum project in Peruproduced 763,500 tonnes of copper concentrates, while contained copper and silveroutput reached 182,288 tonnes and 5.3 million ounces, respectively.

The figures were in line with the company's guidance of between 760,000 tonnesand 780,000 tonnes of copper concentrate, with 190,000 tonnes to 195,000 tonnesof copper contained in the concentrate for the year.

Overall, the results of mining operation were about 93.2 milliontonnes of mined material and 36.1 million tonnes of ore milled.

In 2016, the company estimates that the Toromocho project willproduce about 756,000 tonnes of copper concentrates, with 179,000 tonnes of containedcopper.
