Report: Fidelity Investments asset management chief retiring

Fidelity Investments' head of asset management, Charles Morrison, is retiring in December, The Wall Street Journal reported Oct. 5.

Morrison has led the asset management division for the past five years, the report added.

A Fidelity spokesman said Morrison's successor will be named in the near term, the WSJ added.

FMR LLC leads a group of companies known as Fidelity Investments.
