Ceskoslovenská obchodní banka a.s.' chief risk officer, Tomáš Korínek, will move to unit Ceskomoravská stavební sporitelna a.s. as its new CEO, E15 reported Dec. 21.
Korínek will replace Vladimír Stanura, subject to the approval of the Czech central bank and Ceskomoravská stavební sporitelna's other shareholder, Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, a CSOB spokeswoman said.
In addition, CSOB management board member Jan Sadil will oversee the lender's retail banking operations, taking over from Petr Hutla, who in turn will be responsible for the bank's legal and CSR division, among other things. Jirí Vévoda will oversee the work of CSOB Asset Management.
Meanwhile, CSOB's corporate banking head, Ján Lucan, will move to Slovakia-based Ceskoslovenská obchodná banka a.s. to serve as CFO and a management board from Feb. 1, 2018, E15 reported Dec. 20. The appointment is pending the approval of the Slovak central bank.
KBC Group NV is the parent company of Ceskomoravská stavební sporitelna, Ceskoslovenská obchodná banka and Ceskoslovenská obchodní banka.
