Canada Carbon Inc. increased resources at its Miller graphite property in southern Quebec by 379% as compared to resources outlined in a preliminary economic assessment completed in March.
The Miller property hosts indicated resources containing 21,200 tonnes of graphite within 2.6 million tonnes grading 0.80% graphitic carbon, with inferred resources containing 58,000 tonnes of graphite within 7.6 million tonnes grading 0.77% graphitic carbon.
Canada Carbon noted in its Dec. 14 news release that indicated resources defined to date would support a minimum 10-year mine life.
The company is planning further drilling to better define mineralization for pit optimization and economic assessment as part of a feasibility study.
