AT&T Inc.'s wireline employees represented by the Communications Workers of America ratified a four-year agreement with Pacific Bell and Nevada Bell in the West region.

The contract covers more than 17,000 wireline and DIRECTV employees in California and Nevada, the company said Aug. 10.

The CWA said the agreement was ratified by a margin of 58% to 42%.
