egetæpper a/s said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended April 30 amounted to 1.87 Danish kroner per share, an increase of 6.2% from 1.76 kroner per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 4.9 million kroner, an increase of 6.1% from 4.6 million kroner in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 2.0% from 2.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 26.9% year over year to 243.5 million kroner from 191.8 million kroner, and total operating expenses grew 26.5% from the prior-year period to 231.4 million kroner from 183.0 million kroner.
Reported net income grew 8.7% on an annual basis to 9.0 million kroner, or 3.44 kroner per share, from 8.3 million kroner, or 3.16 kroner per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 12.50 kroner per share, a decrease of 6.2% from 13.33 kroner per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was 32.8 million kroner, a fall of 6.2% from 34.9 million kroner in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 11.4% from the prior-year period to 873.5 million kroner from 784.4 million kroner, and total operating expenses grew 12.3% year over year to 806.5 million kroner from 718.4 million kroner.
The company said reported net income declined 10.0% on an annual basis to 41.9 million kroner, or 15.99 kroner per share, in the full year, from 46.5 million kroner, or 17.76 kroner per share.
As of June 25, US$1 was equivalent to 6.67 Danish kroner.
