Sempra closes sale of passive stake in 3 solar projects

Sempra Energycompleted the sale ofclass A passive interests in three under-construction solar projects to subsidiaryWells Fargo Wind Holdings.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The plants involved in the transaction are the 93.6-MW powerplant in Clark County, Nev., and the 100.82-MW Mesquite Solar 2 and the 153.97-Mesquite Solar 3 facilities in Maricopa County,Ariz., according to a July 21 notice to FERC.

Edison Internationalsubsidiary Southern California EdisonCo. will purchase power from the Copper Mountain Solar 4 and MesquiteSolar 2 projects. Mesquite Solar 3 will sell power to Western Area Power Administration. (EC16-103)
