CBS, Meredith renew affiliations, digital distribution deal

CBS Corp. and Meredith Corp. inked a long-term deal to renew station affiliation agreements.

The affiliation agreements renewed cover four stations, covering more than 5.5 million households. The stations are WGCL in Atlanta; KPHO in Phoenix; KCTV in Kansas City, Mo.; and WNEM in Flint, Mich.

The deal also covers the renewal of participation in CBS All Access, CBS Television Network's digital subscription video-on-demand and live streaming service. Further, the deal covers a commitment to distribution through Hulu LLC's new live multi-channel digital TV service and participation in certain CBS Television Network future new entrant digital distribution deals by all seven Meredith owned-and-operated CBS affiliates, as per a Jan. 24 news release.
