Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Halifax, Nova Scotia-based SBW Employee Benefits.

Rob Weld, Jamie Spence, Lorie Collins and their associates will continue to operate from their Halifax office under the direction of Melanie Jeannotte, president of Gallagher's Canadian employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sinclair Billard and Weld Ltd. and CJM Solutions + Inc. do business as SBW Employee Benefits, which provides group retirement and insurance programs, among other services.
