UK insurer concludes pension insurance buyout of BHS scheme

U.K.-based Pension Insurance Corp. PLC concluded a pension insurance buyout of a scheme that covers £800 million of liabilities and about 9,000 members.

The scheme, BHS2 Scheme, was set up in 2017 after the collapse of U.K. retailer BHS. Those members who chose to enter the scheme will have their pensions secured in full.
