The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency's chief counsel and senior deputy comptroller, Amy Friend, is retiring Nov. 11.

Karen Solomon, a deputy chief counsel, will serve as acting senior deputy comptroller and chief counsel until Friend's permanent successor is named.
