Washington Real Estate Investment Trust signed a lease totaling 51,000 square feet for the top two levels of its 12-story Watergate 600 office building in Washington, D.C.

The diversified REIT said the tenant is an energy and infrastructure capital provider, which is expected to occupy the space at the recently renovated property at 600 New Hampshire Ave. NW in January 2020, for a term of 17 years and eight months.
