RedHill Education swings to loss in fiscal H1

RedHill Education Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to a loss of A$68,750, compared with income of A$625,000 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue increased 14.6% year over year to A$12.7 million from A$11.1 million, and total operating expenses rose 27.7% on an annual basis to A$12.6 million from A$9.8 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of A$48,500, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to income of A$729,270, or 2 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
