Take & Give Needs Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 came to ¥2.63 per share, a decline of 93.7% from ¥41.81 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥34.1 million, a decline of 93.7% from ¥544.5 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 0.2% from 3.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined year over year to ¥13.95 billion from ¥14.63 billion, and total operating expenses increased year over year to ¥13.85 billion from ¥13.69 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥49.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.78 per share, compared to income of ¥477.0 million, or ¥36.63 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Aug. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥102.44.
