Canadian Solar, Menora Mivtachim team up for solar projects in Israel

Canadian Solar Inc. and Menora Mivtachim Holdings Ltd. signed a joint venture agreement to finance constructing solar power projects in Israel.

The companies expect to raise about $60 million, with each party contributing an equal investment amount. The projects include those awarded by the Israeli Electricity Authority under the solar power tenders and other projects to be developed under the partnership, according to an Oct. 17 release.
