Kroll affirms ratings for Texas-based Happy Bancshares, unit

Kroll Bond Rating Agency affirmed Happy Bancshares Inc.'s senior unsecured debt rating of BBB, subordinated debt rating of BBB- and short-term debt rating of K3.

Additionally, the rating agency affirmed the deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings of BBB+, subordinated debt rating of BBB, and short-term deposit and debt ratings of K2 for the company's unit, Happy State Bank.

The outlook for all long-term ratings is stable.

Kroll considered the Texas-based company's sound liquidity position and strong core funding base, among other things, when affirming the ratings.
