Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America has appointed Corey Walther as head of distribution relationship management, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Walther replaces Mike Brandriet, who was recently named president of Allianz Life Financial Services LLC.

Walther most recently worked as COO and chief compliance officer for Allianz Life Financial Services. He will continue as chief compliance officer until a replacement is named.
