ThyssenKrupp AG said Dec. 14 that it will appoint Johannes Dietsch as CFO.
Dietsch, who was the CFO of Bayer AG, will serve a three-year term at thyssenKrupp starting in February 2019.
Guido Kerkhoff, who was recently appointed as the company's CEO, held the role of CFO since 2011.
Reuters had reported that thyssenKrupp and Tata Steel Ltd. are finalizing who will lead their proposed European steel joint venture.
