Bank of the Ozarks plans several office openings this year

Bank of the Ozarks is opening new offices in a handful of states while closing other locations.

The company, which intends to change its name to Bank OZK, opened a loan production office in Raleigh, N.C., in the first quarter of 2018 and plans on opening two others in Tyler, Texas, and Alpharetta, Ga., according to its latest 10-Q report. It also is planning on opening retail banking offices in the Texas cities of Dallas and Fort Worth; Madison, Tenn.; and Jacksonville Beach, Fla.

The company is planning to shutter a loan production office in Little Rock, Ark., as well as real estate loan-focused offices in Houston and Austin, Texas, whose operations will be moved to a similar office in Dallas.
